2009 AUTUMN LEAF BAG
COLLECTION SCHEDULE
When packed in paper biodegradable bags, autumn leaves are collected
curbside. Once they are delivered to the Organic Yard Waste Facility,
they are composted and available as mulch for your garden.
SECTIONS 1 & 7 - each Monday, October 19 - December 7
SECTIONS 2 & 3 - each Thursday, October 22 - December 10
SECTIONS 4 & 5 - each Friday, October 23 - December 11
SECTION 6 - each Tuesday, October 20 - December 8
NOTE: November 3 pick up will be on Wednesday, November 4
PLEASE NOTE: No collections during Thanksgiving week,
November 23 - 27
REMINDERS:
* Leaves must be bagged in biodegradable paper leaf bags;
NO PLASTIC BAGS will be collected.
* Bagged leaves must be placed at curbside
by 6:00 a.m. of your scheduled day.
* Only leaves will be collected; do not place other materials
inside leaf bags; NO BRANCHES will be collected.
* Check that your commercial landscaper has a paid
2009 Disposal Permit for Yorktown's Organic Yard Waste Facility.

Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 4:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 3:00
*No Sales on October 12, November 26 & 27
